Pakistan Army has announced its 2026 recruitment drive — this time inviting young candidates for Soldier (Sipahi) and Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb) posts. Matric-pass youth can apply for Sipahi, while those with religious education are eligible for Naib Khateeb. Registration has been open since 1 September 2026.
The most important thing is the deadline: online registration for Soldier posts stays open till 16 November 2026, while walk-in registration at the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre (AS&RC) or Regimental Centre is possible till 23 November 2026. Naib Khateeb aspirants must obtain the form directly from an AS&RC and submit it there — there is no online application for this post.

Vacancy Details & Eligibility
1. Naib Khateeb (Junior Commissioned Officer)
Responsible for the unit’s religious affairs — leading prayers, religious instruction and the moral training of soldiers. Education: Dars-e-Nizami (Shahadat-ul-Almia, HEC-recognized) + Intermediate. Age: 20 to 28 years (as on 24 Nov 2026). Height: minimum 5 feet 3 inches. The form must be obtained from and submitted at an AS&RC.
2. Sipahi – General Duty / Driver / Technical Trade
Education: Matric or higher. Age: 17.5 to 23 years. Height: minimum 5 feet 6 inches. Relevant skill/training required for technical trades.
3. Sipahi – Military Police
Education: Matric or higher. Age: 17.5 to 23 years. Height: minimum 5 feet 8 inches.
4. Sipahi – Clerk
Education: Intermediate (C grade) + computer knowledge. Height: minimum 5 feet 3 inches.
5. Sipahi – Cook
Education: Middle pass. Height: minimum 5 feet 3 inches.
6. Sanitary Worker
Education: Primary / literate. Age: 17.5 to 35 years. Height: minimum 5 feet 3 inches.

Note: Online registration is not compulsory for Soldier posts — if you have no internet access, you can also register by visiting the nearest AS&RC directly.
General Eligibility Conditions
- Only male candidates may apply (domicile holders of Pakistan, AJK and GB).
- Candidates must be unmarried (this condition does not apply to Naib Khateeb).
- All Sipahi posts are pensionable.
- Age relaxation: 1 year for graduates, 2 years for legal heirs of martyrs / war-injured personnel, 3 years for candidates from Balochistan, GB, AJK and merged KP districts.
- Height relaxation: 2 inches for candidates from Balochistan, merged KP districts and GB (not applicable to Clerk, Military Police, Cook and Sanitary Worker).
- Quota is reserved for non-Muslim minorities.

How to Apply
Online (Sipahi): Register at www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk by 16 November 2026, enter your details and print your online exam slip.
Walk-in (Sipahi & JCO): Visit the nearest Army Selection & Recruitment Centre or Regimental Centre (Gilgit, Peshawar, D.I. Khan, Muzaffarabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta, Khuzdar, Turbat, Bannu, Sahiwal, Hyderabad, Karachi) with all original documents by 23 November 2026. The Naib Khateeb form is also available there.
Selection Process
After registration, eligible candidates will go through written test, physical test, medical and interview stages — all held at the respective AS&RC. Final selection will be on merit.
Important Notes
- Age will be calculated as on 24 November 2026.
- Candidature can be cancelled at any stage if any information is found incorrect.
- No TA/DA is admissible for test/interview.
